Classroom Based Instruction
Program Specifics:
- Our program is available for 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students.
- We offer an 8 to 10 week program.
- Each session runs for 45 minutes.
- Sessions are age-appropriate & tailored to fit the needs of the school we serve.
- Our program is designed to engage students with interactive discussion and activities, informational handouts, and real life stories.
Topics Covered:
- Setting Goals and Dreams
- Media Influence
- Teen Pregnancy
- STD’s
- Self esteem & self respect
- Abstinence from alcohol and drugs
- Decision-making and Refusal skills
- Abstinence until marriage
- Building Healthy Friendships
- 6th grade classes will also include puberty, hygiene, and decision making skills.
